Paradise Public Fishing Area is 1,341 acres offering outdoor activities for all ages. Berrien County shares this land with Tift County and includes 60 lakes and ponds with fishing access from the banks and boats, and wheelchair acces Lakes are managed to provide bass, bream, crappie, and channel catfish. The area has ample space for fishing, beautiful picnic sites, hiking, birding, wildlife observation, and relaxation. A designated camping area allows tent camping and provides plenty of room for enjoyment. Boat ramps, docks, and fishing piers are available at several of the lakes and ponds, and a fish cleaning station is located between the entrance and the office. Certain heavily stocked ponds offer seasonal fishing for special events for children to help ensure multiple catches.

Paradise Public Fishing Area is managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Management Section. More information may be found on their website by clicking the icon below.
